Progress to Date
Roof renewal ongoing to numbers 10, 12, 30, 34 and 38 Akerman Road.
Scaffold being removed lift by lift to numbers 44, 46 and 48 and all works are now being inspected and signed off by Baily Garner. Ground floor area making good to be carried out once the scaffold has been fully removed.
Scaffolding to the remaining properties in Akerman Road is in progress.
Surveys of all properties have now been completed and the scope of works agreed. Roof works and concrete repairs to start in the coming weeks.
Window overhauls are in progress and preparation for painting to follow.
Scaffolding has been erected from numbers 11 to 35A Loughborough Road.
Due to the properties on Foxley Road being Grade ll listed, the Lambeth Planning Conservation Officer had to be consulted prior to any works commencing. We have now received authorisation that we can proceed following guidance provided.
All surveys for properties 48, 46, 44, 42, 40, 38 and 36 Foxley Road have been agreed and work is due to commence shortly.
Clear access will allow the scaffolding to be erected and prevent delays to the work. If you have any items stored against the building or within a metre of it please move these to a safe place for the duration of our works. We are happy to help you move any heavy items.
Our working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. It is unlikely that we will need to do any work in the evenings or at weekends. If we ever do need to work unusual hours, we will seek the permission of Lambeth Council and we will let you know if it affects you or your home before we start work. We have a site office compound on Evandale Road, SW9 6SX for the duration of the works.
Breyer Group inspects the scaffolding on a weekly basis. But if you notice or are aware of any suspicious behaviour or problems relating to the scaffolding, such as unauthorised access, please contact the Breyer’s Site Team. If the site is closed, contact the police.
Please speak to your children and anyone visiting you, to warn them of the dangers of climbing on the scaffolding. Please also note that no member of the public is allowed on the scaffolding at any time.
Scaffolding must only ever be accessed by authorised and trained persons because working at height is a high risk task.
Change of Site Manager
We would like to make residents aware that we have had a change to our Site Team Management. Ian Shuttleworth has now taken over from Deon Holzhausser and will be managing this Project going forward.
Please be reminded that the scaffold outside your property is in use Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Should you feel at any point during the day you may be put in a compromising position by workmen working outside the window we would advise that you close your curtains/blinds
