Our aim, with these newsletters, is to keep you well informed about the progress of Lambeth Capital works and make sure you have plenty of opportunity to get involved.
Progress to date
Scaffold errection works has been successfully completed and handed over on flats 22-31 Aquinas Street.
Roof and Fabric Surveys
Now we have a large section of scaffold up we can undertake a detailed survey of the roof, brickwork and stone to determine the repairs that are required to the front and rear elevations to Aquinas Street.
The overhauls and repairs to the windows are currently being undertaken so residents need to arrange an appointment for the work with Mary Lesporis ( RLO )
The external roof and fabric repairs will start early next month once approved by Lambeth and their consultant.
We are aware the works in place are causing some noise and significant dust. Once works are completed a formal handover of the whole block will be carried out. The Estate Manager, Lambeth Capital Works team and their representative from Baily Garner will be in attendance at this to ensure the blocks are returned to a clean and respectable state.
Our working hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. It is unlikely that we will need to do any work in the evening or at weekends. If we ever do need to work unusual hours, we will seek the permission of Lambeth Council prior to this and we will let you know if it affects you or your home.
