Welcome to the Breyer Group newsletter for Electrics
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all residents for your help so far with the project. Below are information and reminders that will be of benefit to you.
Safety & Security
Please remember that construction sites can be dangerous places. Please advise all family members and visitors to your home that scaffolding, site compounds and other work areas should not be accessed. If you see anyone in these areas over night or during the weekends please contact the Police in the first instance.
If you receive unexpected visitors to your home during the works, claiming to be from Breyer Group or any of our contractors, please ask for ID. If you are still unsure please contact the site team on this newsletter (listed on the right), and we will be able to assist you.
This consists of an electrical test and possibly some upgrade work too. This is to ensure the installation is safe and suitable for today’s increased use of electrical appliances.
An upgrade (if required) may involve the installation of additional sockets, replacing electrical switches and socket faceplates and possibly a new consumer unit (fuse board).
The exact work will be determined by an electrician during their visit, and they’ll explain this to you.
If possible the electrician will try to complete any necessary work in one visit. If this isn’t practical (eg because parts need to be ordered, or it’s not convenient to you), we’ll arrange a further visit with you.
All the work is undertaken with very little or no disturbance to your decorations. Rewiring is not usually necessary, but if needed, we’ll agree with you the different ways this can be done.
