A resident from Paulet Road, Lambeth sent in an email to the team who were overseeing works for a new Kitchen and Bathroom, plus electrical works:
Dear Mary, Kevin and Yaw,
Just writing to let you know, and hope that you will pass this message on to the appropriate head of Breyer Group and Lambeth Council, of my feelings regarding the above work that was carried out.
First of all I nearly went crazy with all that drilling and dust, and not being able to take my regular baths or shower, but you know what my beautiful kitchen and bathroom was worth every headache I ended with as the evening came.
My main reason for writing was to complement the workers. They were truly dedicated to doing their assigned task. Most of the time they arrived early, they worked throughout, only stopping to take a cold drink (which they brought themselves) which did not help me much as I had bought a case of water, tea, coffee and biscuits for them and ended up eating all those biscuits myself, alas I could not resist the chocolate ones. They were polite and helpful, even though we did not always understand each other we got there eventually and that did not stop them from doing what they had to do. At the end of the day they cleaned up and said goodbye. I am extremely happy with all the work that has been carried out and wish to praise each one of them for their hard work and dedication. When Romero, the handyman, finished with my kitchen, I mentioned to him that my kitchen looked like it should be in a magazine, that's how lovely it looked, so was my bathroom.
Do stop by for a cup of tea or coffee if you are in the neighbourhood, alas there won't be any biscuits, I'm not taking the chance.
Thanks again for my lovely kitchen and bathroom.
