Breyer Group joins the South East Consortium (SEC)

Following the successful tender process, Breyer Group has been invited to join the South East Consortium’s (SEC) Lot 1 Major Refurbishment - Internal and External Building Works Framework. The estimated total value of the contracts under the Framework over its 4 year term is £60,000,000 which is dependent on how many SEC members decide to ‘call off’ contracts under the Framework.

Works from this Framework will include, but are not limited to:-

  • Kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works
  • New windows, doors, fascias/soffits, porches, external cladding, guttering and rainwater pipes
  • Pitched roofing repairs and replacements
  • Flat roofing repairs and replacements
  • Electrical upgrades and rewiring works
  • External repairs and cyclical redecorations

SEC is a consortium of 21 social landlords including Amicus Horizon, Basildon Borough Council, Brentwood Borough Council, Network Housing Group, Surrey County Council and West Kent Housing Association and manage around 140,000 properties located in the South East of England. Their mission is to support members in delivering a brilliant service to residents through collaborative procuremen

John Walsh, Construction Director (Breyer Group) said, “SEC manages properties in a sector that we specialise in both in terms of refurbishment works and locality. Becoming a member is great news for the business and it will contribute towards ensuring that our order portfolio remains in line with projections.”
