The Considerate Constructors Scheme's Monitor visited Sheenewood Estate and Valentine Estate where we are working on behalf of our client Lewisham Homes. The projects are located in a fairly quiet residential area of Southeast London, with a mixture of tenants and leaseholders. We are undertaking external works which comprise of new window installations, renovation of communal areas and new roofs to some blocks.
Both our sites performed beyond compliance by scoring at least 7 out of 10 points available in each of the five sections of the Scheme's Code of Considerate Practice.
Overseeing both sites, our Site Managers Jamie Knipes and Steven Gracie were presented with a ‘Performance Beyond Compliance’ certificate by the Considerate Constructors Scheme’s Executive Chairman, Isabel Martinson.
The certificates were awarded for:
- Caring about the site’s appearance;
- Respecting the community ;
- Protecting the environment;
- Ensuring everyone’s safety;
- Adding value to the workforce.
According to the Monitor’s Site Report the sites deserve recognition for their excellent appearance, and professionalism shown by all operatives.
The sites and compounds have been maintained to a high standard, presenting an excellent impression; when inspected earlier this year, the branding was clear and consistent across the sites, demonstrating continuous improvement since the previous inspection carried out in 2016.
Well done to the Site Managers and Resident Liaison Officers who continued to ensure that sites are clean and tidy, and all the residents are kept fully informed and engaged via the newsletters, microsite and community events. Previous Article
