Breyer B-Line, experienced responsive repairs and maintenance contractor, has been selected to deliver two key lots of the Repairs and Voids Framework across the Borough of Gravesham, totalling £3.5m. Our Responsive Repairs Team will be supporting Gravesham’s DLO and the Gravesham Repairs Team to ensure quality delivery of the both Lot1 and Lot2.
Lot1 will entail Internal and External works in occupied properties, such as electrical, plumbing, disabled adaptations, carpentry and joinery, artexing and damp and mould works, fencing, brickwork, drainage, roofing and structural works. Over the scheduled two years, circa £2.5m will be allocated to Breyer B-Line for the effective delivery of the programme.
In contrast, the £1.1m Lot2 scheme, due to be completed by 2019, will see the refurbishment of void properties located within Gravesham Borough Council. The successful implementation of this part of the project will rely on our Responsive Maintenance Team in Dartford and on Breyer Group’s supply chain.
The contract will start after the mobilisation process in September 2017 and our skilled Repairs Team of around 10 Operatives will ensure that works are effectively carried out on the 5,700 properties (3,300 of which are houses and bungalows, and 2,400 flats and maisonettes).
During the two years, we aim to achieve a high level of Residents’ satisfaction by delivering quality work and having a positive impact within the community.
On receiving the good news, our B-Line and Roofing Director, Warren Hand commented: “I am delighted that B-Line will be partnering with Gravesham Borough Council for at least the next 2 years, this is a great fit for both Gravesham and ourselves”. Previous Article
