This Big Build episode (aired on 21st October) focused on helping the Lowther family from Basildon whose home underwent extensive changes to help improve the quality of life for 9 year old Brandon who has an extreme form of epilepsy. Brandon has between 20 and 30 seizures a day and requires 24 hour care. His Mum, Jenny can’t let him out of her sight for even a moment.
Works to the Lowther home included a new extension, new kitchen and wet room, hoist in one of the bedrooms, a complete electrical re-wire, painting and decorating and newly transformed front and back gardens with wheelchair access.
Led by Nick Knowles and a 70 strong team, Breyer B-Line’s Operatives (Dwarka Harish, Darren Wood, Krzysztof Dziegielewski and Dave Nolan) worked tirelessly for 10 days, doing 12 hour shifts to ensure the works were carried out to the highest standard within the agreed timeframe Previous Article
