Dress Down for Charity August 2017

During our monthly ‘Dress Down Day’ for Charity we helped World Child Cancer to raise funds to support children with cancer, and their families.

World Child Cancer helps underprivileged and most vulnerable children worldwide access cancer diagnosis, treatment and support, based on the fact that the chance of survival for children with cancer in the developed world is continually improving.

Since ‘Dress Down Day’ represents a way of making a positive impact and improving the life of individuals and communities in need; in July our Managing Director, Tim Breyer nominated World Child Cancer to back the charity’s generous work.

As usual, alongside raffle tickets, cakes, pastries and cookies were for sale on the day. Congratulations winners of the raffle prizes; and a huge thank you to everyone involved who helped to raise £188.27 on the day!

This month we all dressed down to raise 143.35 for Emmaus (Homeless) - a homelessness charity with who offers a home, meaningful work and a sense of belonging to people in need.  Emmaus was nominated by Roisin Pinder, our Administrator in Orpington.
