Breyer Roofing was appointed by Surrey County Council to undertake the roof replacement to Fernleigh Day Centre, working on a total roof area of 800m2. The centre is used by local adults with learning disability to develop creative skills, meet old friends and new people.
The roofing replacement works started on 26th September 2016 and comprised of the following:
Supplementary Health and Safety responsiveness was required n this project as the users of the facility had access to it whilst the works were ongoing. Since the centre remained in full operation during the works, the Site Team had to be outstandingly mindful of the surrounding environment. Nevertheless, the works progressed as scheduled, adhering to industry quality and standard.
The project was completed on time with no issues raised by the client or users of the centre.
Both the management at Fernleigh Day Centre and Surrey County Council were satisfied with the works carried out by Breyer Roofing, as well as their performance and quality of the end product.
