Breyer Roofing has been working in partnership with Stevenage Borough Council carrying out roof renewals and external works. As a thank you gesture to the local community, Breyer Roofing contacted a few school Headteachers offering to revamp a garden or playground area, or decorate a classroom or library in line with specific needs of the Schools.
The only School that accepted the offer was Ashtree Primary School, who have benefited from a renovation of their allotment.
The works commenced on Monday 1st August for 5 days and involved:
On 31st August, during a presentation attended by local Councillor Jeanette Thomas, Breyer Roofing handed back the revamped allotment. A voucher was also given to enable the School’s Garden Club to purchase new seeds and plants.
Beth Kirwan, School Headteacher was so pleased that Ashtree Primary School was beneficiary of such an outstanding project. She said, “It looks really fantastic, thank you very much for the kind offer”.
