Our commitment to CSR includes provision of training placements and apprenticeships, relative to the value of project spend.

Our response to the skills shortage faced by the UK construction industry, centres on our commitment to increasing the numbers of training and apprenticeship schemes year on year, in a variety of trades, on a range of projects. We aim to create skilled and qualified individuals who are able to take up future positions within the construction industry.

It is our aim to be the catalyst for communities in becoming self sustainable. Our strategy for successful CSR delivery is to understand the local context of the areas where we work. This includes the range and quality of services and facilities, the history of the area and the needs of the Local Authority and their residents.

We then design, develop and deliver a bespoke range of targeted initiatives, which benefits the community and promotes good relations between all stakeholder groups, which contribute to the area that we operate in. Our approach is demographically linked to encourage the full inclusion of all minority groups, to enter into our training and employment schemes. We offer a suite of supportive learning provision i.e. translation services and disabled friendly learning. We have been selected as finalists for The National Women in Construction Awards, for our success in the in the promotion of the Construction Industry as a career for Women, through our training and employment schemes in London and The South East.

By empowering residents through the provision of training and employment, we enable them to make their own significant contribution to sustaining the local economy and community not only for themselves but for future generations.
