The government’s new build Affordable Housing targets present significant challenges and opportunities for the Housing Industry, to our Clients and to our business. We are responding to these challenges and opportunities through continuing to work with Housing Associations, Local Authorities and ALMOs, as well as continuing to identify our own development sites to support the sustainable delivery of new homes.

We recognise that the current market and wider economic climate has had an impact on Affordable Housing scheme viability, funding arrangements, accommodation and tenure requirements; and has enhanced our Customer expectations for added value, without conceding Quality.

Working with our in-house Design Team, we ensure that each project proposal complies with the HCA Grant Funding requirements, Design and Quality Standards, HQI’s, and Local Authority Renewable Energy targets and the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3 as a minimum but we are also delivering schemes to Code Level 6. These requirements are intertwined to our proactive approach to designing in accordance with Building for Life, Lifetime Homes and Secure by Design Standards.

Through this dedicated service, our Land and Development Team are able to work collaboratively with our Clients to deliver sustainable housing solutions, which meets demonstrable housing need not only for now, but for the future.
