Celebrating Diversity Event
The annual ‘Celebrating Diversity’ event is a thoroughly enjoyable way of recognising the dedication and hard work of residents from the Ascham Homes Borough.
It was identified that Asian women from the area are very secluded and are not mixing very well within the community.
The Celebrating Diversity events were designed to highlight the cultural diversity within Waltham Forest, achieved through a variety of performances, including Bollywood dancers, Flamenco dancers, Turkish folklore and a production of Joseph by local school children.
